What the...Safari on Windows?

Steve jobs announced today that Safari (Apple's web browser) is available on the PC. you can download it here . Odd to see - I really don't know what to make of this. I always thought of Safari as a terrible browser on the mac so it will be interesting to see how it does on the PC. It is fast that's for sure.

Millennials Conference

Last week I briefly attended a conference on the campus of beautiful UCLA.

The purpose of the visit was to attend the Millennials conference which was hosted there on April 18. Click here for more details www.millennialsconference.com

It was a good day with a great opportunity to meet several companies who are thinking about how to reach out to this emerging demographic. Some of the best sessions focused on user generated content and virtual worlds and how people and communities are using these types of media to express themselves. It was interesting to hear panels of people discuss how some felt technology was enabling them to do more and other felt trapped by it. I personally feel enabled, but there are times when I have to shut my computer and devices off. I think the key is knowing your limits.
