Hi i am new to the site. I've had Nero 4 a long time, but i have been useing the older version. I had uploaded all my pictures, and sometimes would email some of them to family, and friends, with Nero pics. Now i realize, after trying several times Nero quit letting u email pics. for free, with the older version i have. I'm wondering is there another version that i can just move my pics to, and just email them like i was doing. I'm not wanting to make a fancy slideshow, just email them, and save them like i use to. Also i was wondering something else. I had accidently erased some important pics off of my memory card, with my Nero, b cause i clicked on delete instead of save like a dummy, but is there any way i can put my pics back on my memory card to my digital camera so i can get them developed? I would appreciate all the help i can get i sure need it. Thanks alot, Gaylon

I have updated to nero 9, but when I try to import a dvd-rw file I get the erro message nerovision has encountered a problem and needs to close, it worked fine when I had nero 8, help anyone with any ideas

I need help with burning using Nero 9.

I have already burned photos to a DVD and would like to add ( burn ) more photos to the DVD.

I always get the message that the photos on the DVD will be erased.

It seems like there should be a way burn additional materials to a DVD.

Please help me if you know how.

Help with Audio!!

It took me forever to finally download this program. There are no REAL help files. They are all in computer language that I don't understand.

But the issue is. I burned a DVD that worked okay, files are dark and hard to see, there is no audio on the DVD. I heard it fine while i was recording.

Did I miss something? I hope I don't sit here like others for years on end with no response.

I am evaluating Nero Vision 6 now and faced problem, that in the Contents area -> Timeline tab, there are no tabs above the media area. Media area displays media files, but I cannot switch to effects (any effect!). Screenshot is attached.

How that can be cured?

I just switched from nero 7 ultra to nero 9. There used to be a button for create your own dvd movie and you added your video files and it did all the video encoding by its self. Now with nero 9 it wont even find my movies and that create your own dvd movie dosent even exist. SOME ONE PLAESE HELP ME

Hello, I'm Steve and I am.... using an IMac with OSX and Parallels Desktop installed in order to run Windows XP. This setup has been great for running the applications I need for typical gov/corprate day to day work functions. The boss is a "Mac guy" and well, Im flexable in most $ituation$.

One issue I have had with this set up is organization. Eventhough Parallels is completely adept in file and application sharing, I sometimes loose my way somewhere in the crossroads. I did have to install many duplicate applications but nothing ever seems to be permantly lost in the translations/transactions between Mac and PC, just misplaced.

I am wondering if anyone has a file storage solution or system that works well for both of them? Maybe by date or type or program or project? I have numerous overlaping projects and situations and with little expierence in organization I tend to complicate by default.

Somting else I am working on, and how I happend to find my way to this Nero world is storage. I had to have a program that would store flies in a formated structured manner to disc. And Nero was recomended and worked easly for that issue. I have alot of eveyday files that I thought should be stored continuosly "online".

I downloaded "Carbonite" free trial on the PC side (Parallels) and was told by the Carbonite support that I would have to purchase a seperate version of Carbonite for the Mac files.

Dose anyone know if this is true for Nero backup as well? I have attempted to reserch this but have not been able to navigate Nero well enough to find this yet.

Well that is enough for now, I will hopfully report some resolutions soon.

Question: Not able to view a DVD after creating a slideshow

I am able to create a new DVD side show but I can't play it on any DVD play, I'm creating in on a SOY DVD+RW, which is what my PC uses. When I try to finalize the DVD I get a message that the media isn't supported. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Trouble with menu 4 Slide Show

I click on the the nero app. Then click on create and edit, then slide show. The slideshow menu comes up the goes directly to "make a dvd" Im not clicking anything, this happens everytime by itself. Is this a glich, Im very frustated!!

Every movie I burn appears on the T.V. as if its a wide screen movie format, where there is an inch above an below the actual picture. If the movie was origonally in wide screen format, when I play it, there is twice the gap above and below. How do I utilize the entire screen. I am using Nero 9.... so agrivating!

Hi all,

I know some folks have had some troubles with installing the Nero 9 Trial, and the Nero 9 Downloadable Version and Updates. We're working on getting this fixed asap. But here's the juice from official sources, this will solve your problems, so please read carefully:

Nero 9 customers who purchased a Downloadable Version (not Retail Box) or currently have Nero 9 Trial version, must follow the steps below to take advantage of the latest Nero Update:

Step 1: Run the Nero Clean Tool - this uninstalls your previous version of Nero 9 in preparation for the current Nero 9 update. Nero Clean Tool will also uninstall the following applications - Nero Move it, Nero BackItUp 4 and Nero MediaHome 4 - if installed on your computer. Please make sure to keep record of your current serial numbers for reinstallation of these applications.

Step 2: Download and Install the latest Nero 9 Product Update.

Step 3: Enter in your current Nero 9 serial number to complete installation process.

Step 4: If you own other Nero products (such as Nero BackItUp, Nero Move it, Nero Media Home) you will need to reinstall these products individually, AFTER you have installed Nero 9.

If you experience any installation issues, please contact Support.

This Software requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 to run on Windows XP. Please download and install from here.

Where did Nero 6 go?

Hi Dr. Nero,

I had Nero 6 for a long time and decided to try out the nero 8 version. In the process of the download of the (trial version of nero 8) my old version of nero 6 was completely removed (unistalled) from my computer. I decided to stay with my older version Nero 6 but now is GONE!! Please help me, how can I get Nero 6 back. I already removed the (demo trial version) of Nero 8 from my add/remove programs.

I really need my Nero 6 version since I went on vacations recently and have tons of pictures to make a slideshow.

Please Help!!!!!!
