Burning to Multiple Drives With Nero

Got a disc or files on your hard drive that you'd like to burn to 2 or more drives at once? You can with Nero Burning Rom. Here's a little tutorial.

You'll need the full version of Nero - this option isn't available in oem versions. You'll also need 2 or more drives that support what you are trying to burn - like burning to dvd - 2 dvd burners.

Let's begin :)

In SmartStart under applications pick 'Nero Burning Rom'

In Burning Rom on the left hand side pick which type of compilation you're going to do. For this guide we'll be doing dvd-video. Once you click on the compilation in the label tab you can name it. Then click next.

Now you'll find the file(s) you want to burn. For this guide will pick the video_ts folder under 'my dvd'.

Drag the video_ts folder over to the left under 'my dvd' - video_ts. Then click 'burn'.

Now check the box 'use multiple recorder', set your burn speed in write speed and click 'burn'.

Here you'll get a pop up to select which drives to burn to. Click 'ctrl' on your key board and with your mouse pick the drives. Now click 'ok'.

Nero is now burning to multiple drives. You'll see them listed under ' recorder'.

Give it a few minutes depending on the burn speed and viola your dvd's will be burned.

Note: The multiple recorder option isn't working for all in Nero's latest version - 7.9.6.0. You'll go thru the process but once you click 'ok' in about 2 secs you'll get a pop up saying something like 'dvd files sorted - burn successful'.
Nothings burned though.
Using a single drive and all is okay. The only solution for myself and others is to revert back to 7.8.5.0 and the problem is solved.

Edit: Nero's latest version 7.10.1.0 fixes the multiple burner bug in Nero 7.9.6.0
